The Festival Theatre brings a vibrant programme of unforgettable events to life across some of Kent’s most breathtaking historic locations. For 45 years, we’ve had the great pleasure of producing outstanding theatre at Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and our home too!

A small number of our 2027 events are already on sale giving our Festival Friends, Hever Castle Members and Hever Golf Club Members the chance to book before everyone else.

There’s plenty to look forward to in 2027. Some of our most popular performances are returning, alongside exciting new shows and experiences. So, whether you’re joining us again or discovering The Festival Theatre for the first time, there’s a world of events to get excited about. But don’t wait too long — general booking opens on Monday 26 October.

The Festival Theatre at Hever Castle has a full season of events taking place from May until December with performances until October taking place in the Two Sisters’ Theatre, our fully covered open-air venue at Hever Castle. The theatre was beautifully reimagined and rebuilt in 2024 and boasts a full, transparent roof. You can watch the stars on stage and above you, while being protected from the weather. Bespoke events are also taking place at St Peter’s Church Hever village, Chiddingstone Castle and Penshurst Place extending our season across these atmospheric venues.
From family entertainment to historical talks, music events, plays and comedy; all our venues combine exceptional live performances with stunning surroundings, creating an experience that is welcoming and memorable for all.

Festival Gift vouchers are available to purchase all year round. They cost between £5- £60 and can be redeemed online or by phone against any festival performance.
