Dining at Hever

On the following performance nights we are offering pre-theatre supper to theatre patrons and in addition to Hever Castle B&B guests. Bookings close three days before the event, or before then if the dining room is full. Please find further information and the menu below.

Theatre patrons: You can book supper along with your theatre tickets (if you already have your theatre tickets please call us to add supper on, 07379 488 477).

Hever Castle B&B guests: If you would like to book supper, please call (07379 488 477) or email the Festival Theatre (boxoffice@heverfestival.co.uk). We would be delighted to book this for you. There is no discount on supper, but we do offer you a 10% discount on your theatre tickets as Castle overnight guests, so it is worth calling us!

Supper cannot be booked through Hever Castle B&B or reception, only through the theatre.

PICNICS
We delight in seeing your elegant array of picnics on theatre evenings. Each castle site provides a selection of idyllic settings and you are welcome to picnic before evening (from 6.30pm), and after matinée performances (until the castle closes at 6pm). If you are attending an event on the Hever Castle Main Lawn, The Loggia or Anne Boleyn’s Walk or Chiddingstone Castle, you are welcome to picnic during the performance too. All we ask is that you help us to be as sustainable as possible by taking your rubbish home with you.
DINING OPTIONS 
We are thrilled to be working with the new, all-in-house, Hever Castle Catering team, offering our guests delicious menus that make use of the best local and UK produce available.
CATERING FOR HEVER FESTIVAL FRIENDS
Hever Castle Catering are offering a generous 10% discount to Festival Friends, and their guests (when tickets are purchased by the Festival Friend) off the cost of pre-booked suppers. Please note the discount does not apply to the beverages that can be purchased at the event.

If you do not already take advantage of the discounts Hever Festival Theatre Friends Membership can be purchased at any time and starts from £29. With theatre and catering discounts, a membership quickly pays for itself, and you can share the discounts with your friends too. Please feel free to discuss it with the Box Office team, we can (retrospectively if necessarily) add your membership and do the calculations for you too.
PRE-THEATRE SUPPER
Situated in The Tudor Suite Dining Room, within Hever Castle itself, you are dining with royalty!
Book as early as you can, those that wait will find we are often sold out.

For our 8pm performances, you can arrive between 5.30 – 5.45pm and your meal will be served approximately 30 minutes post arrival. You will park in the usual theatre car park at Lakeview. The most direct route is via the theatre lawn, straight over down the slope to the castle, via the moat bridge. Please check our access page where there is a film of us walking the route. PLEASE NOTE
Pre-theatre supper will be taken off sale when the restaurant is full, or 3 days before the event. Please make sure you book in advance so you are not disappointed.

Hever Castle and Golf Club members do not receive a discount on Pre-Theatre Suppers.
If you wish to inform the catering team of any dietary requirements, please email catering@hevercastle.co.uk. Unfortunately, it may not be possible to cater for dietary requirements without reasonable advanced notice.

If you have purchased your theatre tickets already and you wish to purchase Pre-Theatre Supper then please call the box office and we will take payment for your food and upda te your tickets 07379 488 477. If you are yet to purchase your tickets then you can choose one of the joint catering and theatre ticket choices online, or when you talk to us by phone.
REFRESHMENTS ON THE THEATRE LAWN 
Pre- show and interval refreshments will be available on the theatre Lawn for all Two Sisters’ Theatre and Anne Boleyn’s Walk performances. As well as serving hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ice cream, hot sausage rolls and Cornish pasties we are going to be treated to the return of (pre-show only) freshly made savoury and sweet crepes on the theatre lawn in 2025.

Please note; plant based ice cream and hot vegetarian options are available but no other dietary requirements can be catered for on the lawn.
