Kelly performs the beloved hits of country legend Dolly Parton, brilliantly recreating the vitality and voice of the little lady from Tennessee.

Kelly is the best in the business; she sounds like Dolly Parton, she looks like Dolly and she’s as witty and entertaining as Dolly.

The similarities are striking, and not just in the veracity of voice; Kelly’s measurements are exactly the same as Dolly’s, right down to the 32G bust and the 22 inch waist.

The show includes up-tempo numbers like ‘9 to 5’, ‘Baby I’m Burning’ and ‘Islands in the Stream’, as well as powerful ballads such as ‘I will Always Love You’, ‘Jolene’ and ‘Coat of Many Colours’.

Kelly is no stranger to the stage and has been performing all over the world for 20 years and is the only Dolly Parton impersonator to have been invited to sing with Dolly Parton’s band in Nashville, Tennessee.

Australian born Kelly O’Brien has been entertaining professionally for over 25 years. She first began singing Country at the age of 14. Two years later she was crowned South Australian Country Vocalist of the Year and Best New Talent at the famous pan-Australian Gympie Muster country festival, securing Kelly her first recording contract. This led to endless exposure- as one of Australia’s youngest Country singers.

Kelly’s first national television appearance was on the talent show New Faces. TV performances then included spots on Good Morning Australia, Carols in the Domain, Cartoon Network, Living with Style and was a finalist in POPSTARS 2 on Australian National TV.

In 2002, Kelly flew to Germany to star in Starlight Express. This led to a record contract with Zyx music with the release of the hit single ‘Crucified’. Other theatre credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cabaret, Tonight’s the night and Islands in the Stream.

She has appeared on TV in How to Look Good Naked, X factor and ‘Even better than the real thing’ for the BBC.

Country music however is where Kelly’s passion lies and since winning a prestigious Sydney Talent Quest in 2000 as a Dolly Parton impersonator, Kelly has been performing her tribute show ever since.

In September 2011 Kelly finally met her idol, Dolly Parton. And in 2015 was used as a Dolly Parton look alike in a ‘Glastonbury’ television campaign for Green flag. She has been crowned the UK’s best Dolly tribute (as voted by the Agent’s Association of Great Britain) four times running.

In 2019 she was invited to sing in Nashville with Dolly Parton’s band. She was the winner of the twitter campaign #jolenechallenge as chosen by Dolly Parton. Kelly now travels the world as Dolly and works regularly in the West End.
