‘What a Fabulous evening it was. There was something wonderful around every corner: it was beautifully relaxed and the entertainment was incredible. The perfect summer evening. Thank you all for making it happen.’ DC, GLOW Fest 2025
Midsummer GLOW Fest is a unique celebration taking place on just one evening a year. With immersive performances, alfresco dining, music and dancing all taking place, as we bask in the beauty of the Elizabethan gardens at Penshurst Place, this is an exclusive event for a limited audience.
What you can expect on this very special evening.
The event will begin as we gather under the ancient trees, accompanied by the soulful vibes of the gorgeous Mina Mano Band. Depending on the time of your booked immersive promenade tour, you can choose your spot to sit and listen, grab a drink and take advantage of the delicious street food available on the lawn. Or, if you are on an early tour, be the first to experience the unique performances in the walled garden and enjoy your refreshments afterwards.
Our guides will escort you into the garden where you can discover the theatrical treasures hidden within the breathtaking garden ‘rooms’. They will lead you from one unexpected, spellbinding performance to the next, as you wander past the charming circular pond, lose yourself among the fragrant roses and marvel at the sculpture in the Italian Garden.
Returning to where you started, music fills the air and you can enjoy the carefully curated street food, raise a glass at our theatre bar, and soak up the summertime musical vibes. Until the culmination of the evening with our theatrical finale when everyone comes together with the historic Penshurst Place as our back drop.
This is an unmissable midsummer festival where the Penshurst Place gardens, theatre, street food and dancing combine to create an evening of joy, you will remember for a long time to come.
‘Over many years of attending the festival we have always come away artistically nourished.’ Hever Festival audience member 2025

New Creations Collective ballet company create the most stunning immersive work, mesmerising us last year with their poignant performance of extracts from Swan Lake on Diana’s Bath. This year, we asked them to create another piece, just for us, based on another very famous ballet. It couldn’t be more appropriate for Penshurst but we’re not going to tell you which it is. Join us to find out!

Jon Performs his legendary outsized paintings with speed, incredible dexterity, attiude and immaculate timing, all to a kicking soundtrack. Seeing is unbeliving in his unique ‘Painting beyond Numbers’ act, performed with stylish aplomb by a true variety master. Indsiputably the Jackson Pollocks. Seen on the streets, stages and TV screens of the world for the past 26 years. You will have to wait and see who he paints for us on the night.
“Amazing” Graham Norton
“How do you do that?” Ronnie Wood
Taking place in, on and around an old-school London Taxi our GRAND FINALE show has all the hallmarks of the aerial circus producers who created this show – original live music, humour, a mechanically ingenious set, and extraordinary aerial performers. We guarantee you will not have seen anything like this before.

Mina Mano are a collective based in London, bringing a cool, Latin infused flavour to classic and modern songs. The heart of the band is the combination of warm, rich vocals and the fiery Spanish guitar. The group is fronted by Lisa Marini, an artist in her own right, she has performed at the O2 for the Blues Fest, the Main Stage at Wilderness Festival, Glastonbury Festival, the Jazz Café Camden, and many others. Accompanying Lisa on guitar is Arthur Newell, who has toured and recorded with artists such as Jazz Sabbath, Jordan Rakai, New Movement Ensemble, and Omar Puente, among others.
Together as Mina Mano they have performed at concerts, festivals, and private events at home in the UK and abroad. For the event they will be joined by their larger band, including bass and percussion.
The Mina Mano Set List is hugely diverse combining modern pop (think Billlie Elish, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus). Classic pop; from Dolly to Fleetwood Mac and Otis Redding and jazz standards including; Ain’t Got That Swing, Come Fly With Me, Summertime and Whatever Lola Wants.
We hope they might throw in a few of their own compositions too!
